Hi! I run a business selling custom underwear designs and I like to promote other artists work that fit within that theme on my facebook page here: www.facebook.com/AliceInUnderw... Would you mind if I added your work and credit you appropriately for it?
I think this looks really wonderful! The only think that really needs work is the girl on the far right's arm. That line should extend from the upper arm, not the lower. Aside from that, it looks good to me! Also, for everyone saying that their hands are too small, my own hands are proportioned almost exactly like that. They look fine
Hi, ^Awsumz. I colored the non-cape version in Gimp, and added a background. I call it Slumber Party [link] This is my first submission to DA, so I hope I am getting everything right. If not, just let me know and I will fix it.
2. Being negative, ignorant, and rude - doesn't earn you respect. In particular; ~dangoth and ~Shineless - who can take YOU seriously when your accounts are the same age as this artists, and yet clearly you are unnoticed and slept on?! Your available work shows nothing of any credibility or skill, and your pageview count suggests you go around commenting just to Troll. You learn nothing, you do not grow, evolve, or work hard to hone your craft. If you spent more time working on YOUR art, perhaps people would pay attention to your mindless drivel. Perhaps not. You go on largely ignored because you lack a sufficient grasp of the point and how to behave. Slandering others to elevate yourselves might make you feel better - but it doesn't change anything of value.
Here is a great piece of art by itself, made freely available for newer artists to practice with and learn how to color. It's a fantastic resource. It was featured as a Daily Deviation not just for the quality of the lines, but also because of the value it provides to the stock community.
Some people should learn to shut up more so that people just THINK they are stupid, rather than start speaking (or typing..) on a rant - and PROVING it... I'm jussayin'...
AwsumZ, I really admire the way you're handling all this attention and only taking the good parts out of it, "the critique" to help you improve. I'm learning too. Actually... I'm way below your level yet... but hopefully I'll get better! I gotta say I'm a bit mushy inside so if some of these people had commented on my art the way they did on yours I'd probably cry (which is also why I don't upload 90% of the stuff I make just yet). So, I also need to learn some of that (taking criticism) and you've inspired me to be stronger in that respect.
Unfortunately, I don't have anything to add on the art itself. People have already said most of it, no need to repeat it. Anyway, I clicked on this because I'm learning to draw in anime/manga style, and I thought your poses were interesting. They are! Keep up the good work.
sorry, i didn't commented a really usefull critique (I normally had to shut up on detailed critiques because people don't like other people give them recommendations) As you are open to constructive critiques, I should give you some hints about what are people complaining for.
The problem , atleast, with the draw of the central girl, is not exactly her anatomy, i think it is pretty fine.. The problem is the cloth 3rd dimentional error it have. Is like, the -virtual- line over her body doesn't match the line on her cloth (it is too soft, like it doesn't match the lines over her body under that cloths).
ON the other way, the cloth doesn't have any wrinkle, her torso is flexed, so the cloth is, but when you flex in that way, there is some wrikles in the cloth in the belly area.
I m not saying you should correct this. I never correct my draws, but always use the critiques to make the next one better.
In the next one, when you draw the sketch draw a line over the body , a 3rd dimentional contour that helps you define better the body..
god my english is terrible xD. I hope you understand
I wont say anything about the anatomy since this has been said often and I ´m not good at anotomy myself. This is a very detailed pic. As some people already said, this picture is already good and shows how much talent you have and how much you can do with practice. You should keep up your work. This will develop into your own, good style of drawing Anime and Manga Keep your good work. And ignore flames. They won´t bring you anywhere expect into depression if you listen to them XD
